These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WorkTimeTracker (the "Service") provided by WorkTimeTracker ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at security@worktimetracker.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or infringe another person's rights;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service;
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission;
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or unsolicited communications.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payments provider, Polar. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may change pricing for new billing periods on reasonable advance notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. Your content

You retain all rights in the content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

5. Confidentiality

We treat Your Content as confidential and only access it when necessary to operate the Service, provide support you've requested, or comply with law. Our privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may suspend or limit access for maintenance, security, or to address violations of these Terms.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the Service in a way that exposes us or other users to risk. On termination, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export Your Content unless legally prohibited from doing so.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll give reasonable notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
